Can sports benches be installed on artificial turf sports fields?

Yes — for artificial turf installations, we specify freestanding bench designs with wide base plates (rather than spike or bolt anchors that would damage the turf) or supply benches with rubberised base pads that distribute weight and protect the turf surface. How do you maintain school sports benches long-term?

Annual re-oiling with exterior teak oil is the primary maintenance requirement for hardwood school sports benches. Before oiling, scrub with a stiff brush and mild detergent to remove mould, dirt, and weathered oil residue.
