Our Supply Process for Hotel & Resort Projects

Our hotel and resort supply process begins with a project brief submission — either via WhatsApp or email — covering the furniture item types required, quantities, preferred species, finish specification, and project timeline. We respond within one business day with an initial indication of pricing and lead time. For projects above RM 100,000, we arrange a factory visit to review production capabilities and discuss quality standards in person.

Once a purchase order or letter of intent is received with a 50% deposit, production begins at our Masai workshop. For large orders, we provide photographic production updates at key milestones. Quality inspection is conducted at our factory before delivery — hotel procurement teams or their appointed inspectors are welcome to attend. Balance payment is due before or upon delivery. We provide full documentation including timber species certificates, delivery notes, and warranty documentation.

Production Capacity & Project Scale

Oriental Allure Design’s Masai factory has production capacity for approximately 200–400 individual outdoor furniture pieces per month depending on item complexity and species. For large hotel opening orders requiring 500+ pieces within a tight timeline, we plan production 3–4 months in advance and may engage partner workshops for overflow capacity while maintaining our quality oversight.

Yes — FSC-certified plantation Teak is available for projects where international hotel brand standards or ownership sustainability policies require FSC certification. We source FSC-certified Teak from verified plantation suppliers in Malaysia and Indonesia. For Chengal and Balau, we source from MTCC (Malaysian Timber Certification Council) certified suppliers, which is the Malaysian equivalent of FSC and is recognised by many international sustainability frameworks.

What warranty do you provide on hospitality outdoor furniture?

We provide a 12-month structural warranty on all hospitality furniture supply against manufacturing defects in joinery and construction. Natural wood characteristics (checking, colour variation, grain movement) are not covered as they are inherent properties of solid hardwood. For species-specific performance warranty (e.g., durability of Chengal in outdoor conditions), we refer to MTIB durability classification documentation. Extended warranty arrangements can be discussed for large project contracts.

Can you handle delivery and installation at our resort property?

Yes — we provide delivery to hotel and resort properties across Malaysia. For Johor Bahru and southern Johor, delivery and placement is included in project quotations. For KL, Penang, and East Malaysia, delivery is via third-party logistics partners coordinated by our team. Installation (placement, assembly of component pieces, and initial oiling) can be included in the project scope at additional cost.
